TV actor Adhvik Mahanjan, who plays Soham in "Bani - Ishq Da Kalma", says the show attempts to creates awareness among the people who press on NRI grooms for their daughters.
The Colors' show, set in Punjab, revolves around parents who try their best to seek NRI grooms for their girls. The show went on air in March.
"Genuinely with our storyline, we are making an honest attempt to make people aware about this problem," the actor said on the sets of the show Monday.
Meanwhile, Adhvik wants many people to watch his show because TRPs (television rating points) are vital to sustain the competition in TV.
"TRPs are very important for a show because no show continues unless there are good TRPs. So, I would like to request my audience to watch the show," he said.
