Supermodel Bar Refaeli has been reportedly arrested here for tax evasion.
The 30-year-old was dishonest about her income and residence in her tax filings, reports variety.com.
Officials here have charged her with failing to disclose money she earned abroad from modelling in addition to non-cash payments, such as a Range Rover and a Lexus acquired in such deals.
Refaeli has also been accused of failing to pay taxes on her Tel Aviv apartment.
Her mother has been charged as well and their bail has been set at 500,000 shekels (approximately $118,000) each.
Their passports have reportedly been confiscated, and the mother-daughter pair is banned from leaving the country for 180 days.
