Catalan football giant Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique had said that he "would like more players to rest" before the first leg clash against Villanovense in round 32 in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
Despite having six uninjured starters who will not play in the Villanovense tie, Enrique on Tuesday criticised the rule that prevents the team from including more than four players from Barcelona B, reports Efe.
"We are limited in the number of Barcelona B players that we can use. I would like more players to rest, but that's what the rule is and it has to be followed," Enrique said.
He also believes that it would be better to lighten the teams' schedule through changing the rules of the cup competition into a single for each knockout round, which would be also more interesting for fans.
