Lionel Messi scored once and Luis Suarez twice to steer FC Barcelona to a 3-0 win over River Plate to win the FIFA Club World Cup here on Sunday.
It was the Catalan side's fifth trophy in 2015, reported Xinhua.
Messi opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 34th minute as the Argentine's left-foot shot from the centre of the box hit the bottom corner following Neymar's fine headed pass.
Suarez netted a one-on-one to give the European champions a 2-0 lead in the 49th minute after Sergio Busquets offered a pinpoint pass over the top.
The 28-year-old Uruguayan headed Neymar's pass home in the 68th minute.
