Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu confirmed on Thursday that a deal has been reached with French football side Lyon to purchase French defender Samuel Umtiti for 25 million euros ($27.7 million).
During a press conference on Thursday, in which he showcased the club's profits in 2015-16, Bartomeu announced Barca's first deal of the season.
Bartomeu also added that once Umtiti concludes his national duty with France in the ongoing European championship, more details regarding the deal will be revealed, reports Efe.
