US tennis player Sam Querrey defeated Brazil's Thomaz Bellucci 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 in the second round of Wimbledon on Thursday, and is now set to face defending champion and World No.1 Novak Djokovic in the third round.

Querrey has previously reached the last 16 in 2010 while this year he is seeded 28th for the tournament, reports Efe.

The American has played the Serbian star on nine previous occasions, in which he won once four years ago in the Paris Bercy tournament, while the two players have not met since they played in the 2014 US Open.
