Bayern Munich came from behind to beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in the International Champions Cup.
Both sides on Saturday started highly motivated into the pre-season fixture and staged a lively opening period, reports Xinhua news agency.
PSG opened the scoring with 31 minutes played when Timothy Weah danced through Bayern's defense to slot home into the far post corner to past goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.
Bayern remained unimpressed but they only had to wait until the hour mark as Javi Martinez headed home Arjen Robben's corner to restore parity.
Niko Kovac's men gained momentum and secured the lead eight minutes later as Renato Sanches unleashed a well-taken free kick to make it 2-1 on the scoreboards.
However, the reigning German champions were not done with the scoring and added another goal to seal the deal when youngster Joshua Zirkzee tapped home Serge Gnabry's cross in the 78th minute.
"The young players work very, very well. That's what they showed on the pitch today," Bayern's defender David Alaba said.
The German giants will travel to the US for another two test games against Juventus and Manchester City.
