Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez says Ben Affleck was the first man to break her heart and admits that she didn't give herself enough time to "heal".
The 45-year-old, who got divorced twice before she started dating the "Gone Girl" actor in 2002, was completely devastated when they ended their engagement in 2004 even though she married her third husband, Marc Anthony six months later, reports contactmusic.com.
In a recent interview, JLo has admitted she moved on from Affleck very quickly with one of her "best friends" and didn't give herself time to "heal".
Discussing their split, she said: "It was probably my first big heartbreak, and to have one of my best friends who I'd known for years, who I actually love and did have chemistry with, come into my life and say, 'I'm here'...What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you."
The "True Love" author split from Anthony in 2011 and with dancer Casper Smart earlier this year.
