Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa has said he is waiting for a proposal from the management of Olympique Marseille to stay with the French football club next season.
The coach said his future with the team is not dependent on qualifying for the next the Champions League, reports Efe.
"If I receive a proposal I will study it. My answer does not depend on whether or not we qualify for the Champions League," Bielsa said on Saturday.
Media reports, however, indicated that the Marseille president Vincent Labrune has given Bielsa a target of Champions League qualification to get a new contract.
Marseille, with just two games left in Ligue 1, is in the fourth place, two points behind Monaco, which occupies the last Champions League qualifying spot.
Bielsa avoided responding to rumours about returning to Argentina to coach Rosario.
