The son of a Bihar MP was killed in a road accident near Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad city on Saturday, police said.
Rajeev Singh, the son of Lok Janshakti Party MP Rama Kishore Singh who represents Vaishali, was working as a probationary officer with the Canara Bank in the city. He was driving from Patna in his Honda City car when near Bankat village, his car overturned as he attempted to overtake a truck.
A critically injured Singh was rushed to the Swaroop Rani Nehru hospital in Allahabad but could not be saved.
