Only the BJP and the Communist parties have internal democracy, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said Sunday, drawing an unusual parallel between the Right and Left in India.
"Some party is Netaji's party, some party is Behenji's party and some party is Soniaji's party," Hussain said.
"Only BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and the Left parties take decisions based on consensus. We are the only democratic parties," he said.
He did not name any particular Left party. "I don't want to name all the parties," he added.
