The BJP Friday won the Baghpat Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh and was leading in 274 constituencies, the Election Commission said.
Information from the poll panel showed BJP candidates on the winning track in 274 of the 534 seats where trends were available from the vote count, indicating it could get a Lok Sabha majority on its own.
