 "Fire engulfs over dozen houses in Kashmir valley")
A massive fire which erupted early on Monday destroyed over a dozen houses in the Kashmir Valley.
Police said flames from one house in Buchwara in Dalgate area of Srinagar quickly spread to neighbouring houses in the densely populated area.
Seven fire tenders battled the flames, adding that timely evacuation from the burning houses saved lives.
