A body that went missing about a week ago from the mortuary in Ghaziabad was found on Wednesday lying near the premises, police said.
On Wednesday morning, police received a phone call, and the caller said the body was lying in the bushes near the boundary wall of the mortuary house.
Police officials from the New Bus Stand police station found the body wrapped in the same blue coloured cloth in which it was wrapped when it went missing.
"The body was sent for post-mortem examination after documentation. A case has been registered and investigation in on," said Superintendent of Police (City) Ajay Pal.
