A tragedy was averted on Friday when a bomb found in Bari Brahmana area of Jammu was defused.
Police said the bomb was found in Bari Brahmana canal near SIDCO (State Industrial Development Corporation) Chowk in the city.
"A bomb disposal squad was called, which defused the bomb without any damage," a police officer said.
