Several family members of Subhas Chandra Bose on Tuesday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath here on the freedom fighter's 121st birth anniversary, officials said.
They included Bose's brother Sharat Chandra Bose's granddaughter Jayanti Bose Rakshit, her husband Amiya Kumar Rakshit, grand-nephew Arya Bose and grand-niece Tapti Ghosh.
The Chief Minister enquired about their well-being and said that the grateful nation remembered Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary.
He said the revolutionary leader's contribution to the country's freedom struggle would always be remembered.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday had paid homage to Subhas Chandra Bose.
