Boxer Manoj enters men's 64kg Round of 16

Indian boxer Manoj Kumar entered the men's 64 kg category Round of 16 after beating Mokhachane Moshoeshoe of Lesotho 3-0 at the Commonwealth Games here Saturday.

In the Round of 32 bout, the 27-year-old Indian won all three rounds with a perfect score of 30 points, 10 from each judge in each round.

Moshoeshoe was no match for the Haryana pugilist as he only managed scores of 27 in all three rounds.

He will next take on Canada's Arthur Biyarslanov Sunday.

Manoj's compatriot Vijender Singh will fight his men's 75 kg bout later in the day.
