BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL), the discom supplying electricity in south and west Delhi, has started conducting educative programmes on energy conservation in Braille script for blind students, an official said Wednesday.
"BRPL organised two workshops recently, promoting energy conservation and electrical safety at two prominent blind schools in south Delhi," a BSES spokesperson said.
The workshop was held at the JPM Senior Secondary School for Blind and Janta Adarsh Andh Vidyalaya.
Pamphlets and brochures in Braille script were distributed among the students.
BRPL is conducting such workshops as part of its programme that aims to sensitise school children on energy conservation, electrical safety and the menace of power theft.
