The Budget Session of the Delhi Assembly will begin from Friday with an address by Lt Governor Anil Baijal.
"The Eight Session (Budget Session) of Sixth Legislative Assembly of National Capital Territory of Delhi will commence from February 22," the Delhi government said.
"Being the first session of the year, the Lt Governor will address the Assembly at 11 a.m.," it said, adding the formal sitting will begin half-an-hour after conclusion of the address.
Finance Minister Manish Sisodia will present the Budget on February 26.
"The budget proposals will be discussed on February 27-28, before being considered and passed by the House," the government said.
