Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini extended their contracts with Italian Serie A club Juventus to 2017 and 2018 respectively Thursday.
The new contract ensures Buffon's stay at Juventus for 16 years. He will be 39 years old when the deal expires, reports Xinhua.
The goalkeeper is the captain of Juventus as well as the Italian national team.
Chiellini will be 33 and will play 13 years for the club when the defender serves up the extended contract.
The two players both stayed at Juventus when it was relegated to the second division (Serie B) for match-fixing and have shaped its resurgence, helping the club to three successive Serie A titles.
