Actress-model Eva Herzigova is proud of the fact that she is a self-made person and that she did'nt need the support of anyone else to grow in her career.
The 40-year-old, who started her career in Paris in 1989, says that initially she used to look for a mentor, but now she feels glad that she made it on her own, reports contactmusic.com.
"At the time I longed to meet a mentor, but I never found one. I built my career entirely by myself, ensuring I always did my best at everything I set my mind to. I learnt to know myself as a person and conquered my fears," France's Madame Figaro magazine quoted Herzigova as saying.
Herzigova is the face of Dior's luxury skincare line, Capture Totale and has been seen in French films "Les Anges gardiens" and "L'amico del cuore".
