The 28th international Tour du Faso, one of Africa's premier cycling events, will take place from October 30 to November 8.
This edition was originally scheduled for October 28-November 2, last year, and was postponed due to the threat of Ebola virus. It will now be held in 10 stages, accompanied by a criterium, a source close to the Ministry of Sports and Recreation said on Thursday, reports Xinhua.
Burkinabe Abdoul Aziz Nikiema won the last edition in 2014.
This year, the 28th Tour of Faso was scheduled for October 1-10, but was disrupted by the failed coup led by General Gilbert Diendere on September 16.
