'C.I.D' helped Dayanand Shetty find true friend (TV Snippets)

Actor Dayanand Shetty, better know as Daya from TV show "C.I.D", says he has found a 'true friend' in his co-star and actor Aditya Srivastava.

Aditya plays detective Abhijeet in the long-running detective TV series. Dayanand talked about his close rapport with Aditya before Friendship Day, which falls on Sunday.

"I have worked with many actors in the show, but I have found a true friend in Aditya over these years.

"We bond very well with each other onscreen as well as off-screen and this bond will be seen in one of the upcoming episodes based on Friendship Day," Dayanand said in a statement.

The show, which is aired on Sony Entertainment Television channel, also stars Shivaji Satam.

Friendships, dance make Shantanu Maheshwari happy

Actor-dancer Shantanu Maheshwari, who will be seen as a mentor in the TV show "bindass NAACH", believes that friendship and dance are two of his biggest pillars for growth and happiness.

The show has brought three dancers together - Shantanu, Macedon D'mello and Nimit Kotian, and it highlights their journey as they work towards making their dream come true.

"Friendship and dance are two of my biggest pillars for growth and happiness. 'bindass NAACH' has brought us together once again to relive our dream that we saw in college. It has been a great journey so far and it has taken us so much closer to our dream," Shantanu said in a statement.

Talking about it further, he added: "We are not only living our passion together but will also be representing our country at an international level."

The dance troupe will represent Indian in an international dance competition-- World of Dance 2015 to be held in Los Angeles next month.

Rachana exitced over new look in '?Maharana Pratap'

Actress Rachana Parulkar, who plays role of Ajabde in "Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap", says she is looking forward to the impending leap of the historical TV show because of her new elegant makeover.

"Post the leap, my look is going to change. Viewers will see my character as more elegant and mature.

"I am looking forward to shoot the upcoming track which will portray my new avatar. With the leap taking place, the viewers will be in for more entertainment," Rachana said in a statement.

The Sony Entertainment Television show, which is based on the life of Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, is headed towards a forward leap of three years.
