Actress Cameron Diaz is reportedly planning a girls holiday to help friend and actress Gwyneth Paltrow get over her split from husband Chris Martin.
Diaz is keen to cheer up Paltrow following the end of her 10-year marriage to the Coldplay frontman and is enlisting several of their mutual friends to whisk her away for a relaxing break, reports contactmusic.com.
"Cameron is currently rallying the troops. She wants actresses Reese Witherspoon, Gucci Westman and Jennifer Aniston, although she's filming a lot. She wants them just to relax, have fun and make Gwyneth laugh. They're currently talking about the Italian Riviera," said a source.
Paltrow has relied a lot on Aniston during her marriage troubles, and regularly stayed with her before her marraige with Martin ended.
"Jen's known about their marriage problems for a long time. And ever since they announced their split she has been on the end of a phone round the clock offering support and guidance. She was also instrumental in helping Gwyneth while she and Chris were deciding whether to end things," the source added.
The source continued: "It was great for Gwyneth to escape to Jen's when she and Chris needed time apart. And in the past few weeks, since returning from holiday, she has also spent nights at Jen's."
