The 32-year-old made his acting debut in 2005. Is he keen to act in a Bollywood film?
"I respect filmmaking and actors and the entire crew too much. I'm a movie buff and I did act in a Malayalam film. It was an absolute honour. But I also realised the level of dedication actors have for their craft and the art form. And I know I can never match that," Benny told IANS.
Benny has crooned in various languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He has also lent his voice for the song "Ude dil befikre" from filmmaker Aditya Chopra's upcoming movie "Befikre".
The singer loves being in a recording studio.
"I'd rather sit in a studio and record a song and go home once I'm done, which takes a minimum of two to three hours," he said.
