A 35-year-old man was arrested in south Delhi for possessing 72.5 kg of cannabis, valued at Rs.45 lakh ($70,000) in the international market, police said on Saturday.
Jahoor Khan, a resident of Farukhabad in Uttar Pradesh, was arrested on Thursday from Kalindi Kunj in Sarita Vihar.
"The cannabis was loaded in a truck...," Deputy Commissioner of Police Mandeep Singh Randhawa said.
Khan used to bring cannabis from Odisha to Delhi for one Chaman Khan.
"Chaman used to supply cannabis to local drug peddlers in Delhi and NCR," Randhawa added.
