Cannon wears turbans for better understanding

Reality TV show host Nick Cannon says he has been wearing turbans to raise "cultural understanding".

Cannon talked about his turbans and former wife Mariah Carey's disastrous New Year's Eve performance when he appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", reports dailymail.co.uk.

For the show, the 36-year-old wore a grey T-shirt, white jacket and black jeans. He also wore a white turban embellished with a diamond.

The "America's Got Talent" host said he has been studying turbans "for quite some time" and wears them to encourage others to "embrace differences".

DeGeneres also asked Cannon about Carey's live New Year's Eve televised performance that was marred by technical difficulties.

"You know me, I'm a conspiracy theorist. I think the government did that, they set her up. That was a distraction," he joked.
