Fictional character Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, will reportedly feature in "Avengers: Infinity War Part I".
According to entertainment website Heroic Hollywood, the actress cast in the role of Captain Marvel will be on set by the time "Avengers: Infinity War Part I" begins filming in Atlanta in November later this year, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Actress Brie Larson and MMA star Ronda Rousey are among the names who are rumoured to take Captain Marvel's role in the film.
The report comes after Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made a statement that "Captain Marvel" cast announcements are coming before summer's end.
Feife said that the solo movie would center on Danvers' "journey to being Captain Marvel".
Meanwhile, popular superheroes Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will make their debut in the Marvel franchise with the film "Captain America: Civil War".
