The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will announce on Friday its decision on the appeal from French Michel Platini against the 90-day suspension imposed by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA)'s ethics committee.
The arbitration body announced on Thursday that it will publish the final ruling in a statement on its official website, reports Efe.
The CAS panel in charge of the case had a preliminary hearing on Tuesday with the concerned parties.
The ethics committee suspension prevents Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) president Platini from standing in the FIFA presidential election to be held in February 2016.
The Frenchman was suspended for 90 days on October 7 by the ethics committee of FIFA, after the Swiss Prosecutor accused the organisation's president Sepp Blatter of disloyal management and breach of trust.
On November 12, the electoral committee of FIFA selected five candidates for the post of president, excluding Platini because of his suspension.
