A case has been registered following a complaint by AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP Sasikala Pushpa's about online circulation of her morphed pictures and obscene articles targetting her, Delhi Police said on Thursday.
"The case was registered under the Information Technology Act and a team of Cyber Cell is investigating. We have asked various websites/portals to provide details in connection with such morphed pictures of the member of Parliament," Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma, who is also the Public Relations Officer of the force, told IANS.
Pushpa was expelled from the AIADMK in August 2016 by party chief and then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa for alleged "anti-party activities".
