Brazilian international footballer Casemiro signed a new six-year contract with La Liga giants Real Madrid on Monday.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Spanish side from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2013 and spent last term on loan at FC Porto where he became a key player for the Portuguese side.
"Casemiro signed his Real Madrid contract extension in the Board Room accompanied by the president Florentino Perez," Real Madrid said in a statement.
"The midfielder will remain at the club until June 30, 2021. After putting pen to paper, he was presented with a watch and a jersey bearing his name as well as the number 2021."
Casemiro has played 11 matches for Brazil.
