Catherine Zeta-Jones never had plastic surgery

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones says she has "not been under the knife" to improve her looks but would consider having plastic surgery if she thought it was going to make her happier.

The 46-year-old, who is married to 71-year-old actor Michael Douglas, is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood but is adamant she has never had any form of plastic surgery to make her look more youthful.

However, Zeta-Jones would not be opposed to seeking medical help to improve her body or face if she felt it was something she wanted to do to give herself more confidence, reports femalefirst.cu.ok.

Asked whether female actresses feel pressure to stay beautiful, she told Good Housekeeping magazine: "You don't have to be a beauty queen to be an actress, the roles that are coming my way are different and more interesting.

"But I'm not anti-plastic surgery at all. Contrary to public opinion, I have not been under the knife ... yet, is what I say! If I feel like it, I'm going to go ahead and do it! If (surgery) makes you feel better, who am I to tell someone that it's wrong."
