The Cabinet Committee on Investment's Project Monitoring Group on Tuesday reviewed 34 projects in Odisha and set timelines for their completion.
The panel, led by joint secretary V.P. Roy of the cabinet secretariat, reviewed the progress of ongoing mega projects in the railways, national highways, steel, mines and power sectors.
Many bottlenecks related to land and forest diversion proposals have been removed and the projects put on fast track, said a release from the office of chief secretary G.C. Pati.
