Centuries by Khan, Avinash put Colts on top

Centuries by Liyan Khan (107 not out, 210b, 13x4, 2x6) and K.C. Avinash (116, 205b, 17x4, 2x6) saw KSCA Colts XI reply strongly to Andhra CA's first innings total of 340 at stumps on the second day of their four-day match in the KSCA All-India cricket tournament here on Monday.

The Colts were 255 for three after Avinash and Khan added 219 runs to move into a strong position even as the opposition's bowling wilted under their onslaught.

A century by Guntash Veer Singh (154, 311b, 17x4) and his 150-run partnership with Rahul Dagar (94 not out) helped Haryana CA make 345 for four in reply to Odisha's first innings tally of 137.

Faiz Fazal slammed 102 (210b, 14x4, 1x6) as Vidarbha CA took a 50-run first innings lead over Gujarat CA who were 21 for no loss in their second essay.
