Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal's short film "Azaad", which narrates the tale of a nation across two generations through the eyes of the protagonist Azaad and explores what it truly means to be free in today's day and age, has been launched.
Also written and directed by Chandan, the film is live on SonyLIV.com and the SonyLIV App.
Set across multiple timelines, "Azaad" features Chandan, Adil Hussain and Sudeep Modak.
"The movie perfectly encapsulates the spirit of independence and the pride that is associated with it. While giving a glimpse into history through its unique storytelling, 'Azaad' will be the perfect watch for our viewers across the country," Uday Sodhi, Executive Vice President and Head - Digital Business, SonyLIV, said in a statement.
