Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N.Chandrababu Naidu Thursday met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa and DMK president M.Karunanidhi and discussed the Telangana issue in Andhra Pradesh with them.
Speaking to reporters after meeting Jayalalithaa at her residence here, Naidu said the bifurcation of the state should be done in a judicious manner with everybody's consent.
He said justice should be done to both the regions - Seemandhra and Telangana - and there should be consensus and people of both the region must be happy with the bifurcation.
According to him, Congress is violating the principle of federalism while trying to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh.
Refusing to give a clear answer on his stand on Telungana, the former Andhra Pradesh chief minister said Congress is playing dirty politics on the issue.
