Actress Charlize Theron, who is known for her charity work, wants her son Jackson to be proud of her.
Theron, 38, adopted Jackson in March 2012. She wants to leave only good memories for him.
"(Charity work is) definitely different (now), because you start thinking about the legacy that you want to leave behind for your child...I want him to be proud of me in a way that's authentic," eonline.com quoted Theron as saying.
The actress feels Jackson is growing up really fast.
"He's just growing at a rate that I feel like every morning, I'm going to walk into his room and he's going to be like Hercules, like busting out of his pyjamas...He's amazing. He truly is heaven on toast," she said.
The actress was recently honoured for her philanthropic work at the Variety's Power of Women luncheon.
