English football club Chelsea's manager Jose Mourinho has been banned from driving for six months after being found guilty of speeding last year.

The Portuguese was caught driving at 60 miles per hour in a 50mph zone in Surrey in September last year.

Mourinho was ordered to pay a total of 1,820 pounds ($2,815) in fines at a court hearing on Wednesday, reports in the British media said on Thursday.

Mourinho was not present at the hearing.
