Chelsea confirmed on Friday the departure of Colombian Radamel Falcao and Brazilian Alexandre Pato after the expiry of their contracts at the football club.
Falcao joined Chelsea last summer on loan from Monaco, a team that had already loaned him the season before to Manchester United, reports Efe.
The striker, 30, played 12 games with the London club in a campaign marked by recurrent injuries.
Pato, 26, meanwhile, arrived at the Blues during the January transfer window on loan from Corinthians.
However, due to being in bad physical shape, the Brazilian striker only played two games with Chelsea.
In addition, Chelsea also announced the departure of veteran Italian goalkeeper Marco Amelia after his contract was not renewed.
Amelia, 34, joined the Blues on a short-term contract to reinforce the goal after Thibaut Courtois' injury.
