Actress-singer Miley Cyrus says children should enjoy being young and carefree and not pursue acting career at a young age.

The 20-year-old, who is known in Disney TV series "Hannah Montana" when she was 11, insists that children should enjoy their childhood and need not cope up with pressure that comes with being a star.

"People are like, 'What's your advice to young people that want to be actors?' And I'm like, 'Don't do it', because you need to enjoy being a kid," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Cyrus as saying.

"People don't realise, but with so many responsibilities you hold an entire company on your back," she added.
