Delhi continued to be chilly Tuesday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average. The weatherman has forecast light rain during the day.
"The day will remain cloudy with light rain expected during the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The national capital recorded a total rainfall of 6.4 mm since Monday.
According to Northern Railway, four trains were cancelled and 12 trains en-route to Delhi were delayed.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 19.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 2.4 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
