China's air force is set to hold a series of events and exhibitions for the public starting on Thursday, an official said on Tuesday.
Shen Jinke, spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army Air Force, said the activities will be held at the Aviation University of Air Force in Changchun, Xinhua news agency reported.
The activities will showcase 1,000 debutant pilots who joined the air force this year, Shen added.
The Bayi Aerobatics Team will perform, as will as parachute teams.
The event will also exhibit military equipment, including CJ-6 and J-10 aircraft, Z-9 helicopters and HQ-9 surface-to-air missiles.
