Rapper Chris Brown says he has renamed his new English bulldog puppy from Chief to X. "X" is the title of Brown's forthcoming album.
The 24-year-old singer revealed his pet's new name in a video posted on his website Friday.
"Right now I'm just chilling with this little guy. His name's X," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Brown as saying.
"This is also my album title, so make sure you go get it. It's coming out real soon," he said.
The singer, who has previously owned a dog of the pit bull breed, got his new pet from breeders Shrinkabulls, that has helped a number of high profile stars including Cher Lloyd, Joe Jonas and Randy Jackson adopt bulldog puppies in the past.
The R&B star will unveil his new single "They Don't Know", featuring the late singer Aaliyah, Monday.
"It's going to be amazing," he said.
