Justin Reardon's upcoming romantic-comedy "Playing It Cool", with Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan, will release in India on May 8.

Widely known for his superhero flicks, Evans will be seen playing a writer who loves to write about action, and is forced to pen down a new romantic comedy novel, which he struggles with being a non-love believer until he falls for Monaghan.

The film was formerly called "A Many Splintered Thing" and has been the top choice of the Black List, which is an annual survey of the most liked screenplays in Hollywood which deserved to be made into a feature film.

The film's script has also earned itself the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship which is an international screenwriting competition established to identify and encourage talented new screenwriters.

"Playing It Cool" also features TV personality Aubrey Plaza in a pivotal role. It is being distributed in India by PVR Pictures.
