Chris Pratt in talks to star in 'Jurassic World'

Actor Chris Pratt, known for playing Andy Dwyer in TV series "Parks and Recreation", is in talks to feature as the male lead in the latest sequel of sci-fi movie "Jurassic Park".

Pratt would take on the role originally intended for actor Josh Brolin and will play a rugged ex-military man in the movie titled "Jurassic World", reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in talks to star.

The movie will be directed by Colin Trevorrow who co-scripted the film with Derek Connolly.

Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will produce "Jurassic World", which is set to begin filming in early 2014 and will hit the theatres June 12, 2015.
