Rome, May 29 (IANS/AKI) The Catholic Church has high hopes from young people, who should be generous and should not be afraid to aim high, Pope Francis said.
"Dear young people, the Church expects great things of you and your generosity. Don't be afraid to aim high," the Pope wrote in his @Pontifex account on microblogging website Twitter.
In another tweet, Francis wrote: "Every time we give in to selfishness and say 'No' to God, we spoil his loving plan for us."
The pontiff will visit Brazil July 22-29 to attend the World Youth Day. The six-day event is expected to draw over 2.5 million people.
