English Premier League title favourites Manchester City were shocked 2-3 by newly-promoted Cardiff City while Tottenham Hotspur edged Swansea 1-0 to go joint top of the standings.
City, who along with Chelsea, are the bookies favourites to win the Premier League went down to the Welsh club after two goals from Frazier Campbell Sunday.
A Roberto Soldado penalty again came to the rescue of his team for the second game running.
Chelsea continue to top the league thanks to a better goal difference with Liverpool second after their narrow 1-0 win over Aston Villa Saturday.
