The Marathi textbook for Class II issued by Goa's Education Department carries an incomplete version of the national anthem, though a top department official said that the error may have cropped up in just one-odd copy.
The book, which has been issued to thousands of students studying in Marathi medium this academic year, carries the national anthem minus the last line "Jaya he, Jaya he, Jaya he".
When asked for comment, state's Education Director Gajanan Bhat told IANS: "It is not possible. I will get it checked up. It may have happened in one-odd copy."
