"The sky will be partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 39 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 64 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 38.4 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average, while the minimum was 26.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
