Cold weather accompanied with cloudy skies continued to affect normal life in Rajasthan with temperature hovering between zero to three degrees Celsius at several places in the desert state.
Met department officials warned Saturday that night temperatures of four degree Celsius or less at isolated places will be reported in northern Rajasthan in an indication of continued extreme cold conditions.
Minimum temperate improved in some places including state capital Jaipur but chilly winds forced people to remain indoors.
Minimum temperature in Jaipur was 9.4 degree Celsius, while the maximum was 20 degrees.
The minimum temperature of zero degrees Celsius was recorded in Churu district, officials said.
